MotoGP Mandalika 2022 tickets available – but mostly sold

IO – PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero) or the Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (“ITDC”), the State-Owned Enterprise that administers the Special Economic Region of Mandalika (“The Mandalika”) in cooperation with the Mandalika Grand Prix Association (“MGPA”) as part of the ITDC Group, opens the offline sale of MotoGP Indonesia Grand Prix 2022 tickets in all Indomaret, Alfamart, and Angkasa Pura Hotels throughout Indonesia on Tuesday, 11 January 2022.

Mandalika MotoGP tickets have been sold online through official partners My Pertamina, InJourney, and Xplorin apps, with the support of Bank NTB Syariah, Livin’ by Mandiri, Ticketsapasaja.com, Tickets.com, and DyandraTickets.com, from 6 January 2022. “Offline ticket sales are meant to complement the online sales that we started last Thursday. It is meant to make it easier for motorcycle racing lovers to get their tickets to watch MotoGP live. With all the convenience that we provided, we are optimistic that the tickets will sell faster. Our optimism is based on the high level of enthusiasm shown by the people buying the tickets in droves, from our ticket sales,” said MGPA Vice President Director Cahyadi Wanda.

MotoGP tickets available through offline sales are for VIP Hospitality Suites Deluxe Class, Premium Grandstand Class, Standard Grandstand Class, and General Admission Class.

VIP Hospitality Suites Deluxe Class tickets are available as 3 days pass at IDR 10,000,000.00 each. General Admission, Standard Grandstand, and Premium Grandstand Class tickets are available as daily and weekend pass tickets for 19 and 20 March 2022. Daily tickets are for the first day (18 March) sold at IDR 115,000.00 to IDR 431,250.00 each, second day (19 March) at IDR 287,500.00 to IDR 1,150,000.00 each, and final race day (20 March) at IDR 575,000.00 to IDR 1,725,000.00. The Weekend Pass is available at IDR 805,000.00 to IDR 2,587,000.00 each.

So what do you get for this amount of money?

VIP Hospitality Suites Deluxe Class is located at the VIP Village right next to the Paddock. Tickets include seating, meals, snacks, and drinks indoor, so that viewers can enjoy the race luxuriously without having to leave the room.

Premium Grandstand Class is where viewers can seat comfortably on seats with roofing, while Standard Grandstand is where they can sit on armless, roofless bucket seats.

General Admission tickets are for those in the non-seating area, where they can enter the Circuit compound to stand and watch from a huge screen in the commercial area without entering the Grandstand.

Sales data on Monday (10/01/2022) show that a total of 4,529 tickets were sold: 2,738 daily tickets, 773 weekend passes, and 1,018 3 days passes. These numbers are compounded from the total of Premium Grandstand and VIP Hospitality Suites (Premiere Class and Deluxe Class) ticket sales. All of the 900 VIP Hospitality Suites Premiere Class tickets were sold outright on the first day of online sales (6 January 2022). “To all lovers of motorcycle racing in Indonesia, make sure you don’t forget to get your tickets before they’re sold out! You can get them from our official partners, both offline and online. We are waiting for you at the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit to become part of our national motorcycle racing history!” Cahyadi said.
