Jakarta, IO – Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi stated that Indonesia remains committed to help Palestinian refugees during a ministerial meeting on the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in New York, Thursday (22/9).

“Indonesia has always firmly supported UNRWA activities, a UN agency tasked with helping Palestinian refugees,” said Retno, as reported by Antara, Saturday (24/9).

Retno also expressed her concern that the international community no longer see the fate of Palestinian refugees as something that must be addressed immediately.

“Palestinian refugees also have the right to enjoy life like we all do,” she said.
