Jakarta, IO – The House Ethics Council (MKD) is scheduled to summon House Committee I member Effendi Simbolon on alleged ethical violations. This relates to Effendi’s recent comment that has angered the military, where he equated the army with a “gang” during a hearing with TNI commander Gen. Andika Perkasa.
MKD deputy chair Habiburokhman said the council planned to summon Effendi today. Besides Effendi, MKD will also summon two complainants in this case, CNN Indonesia reported on Thursday (15/9).
“We will hear from the complainants first tomorrow morning at 11.00 WIB, then in the afternoon we will call Effendi Simbolon,” Habib said.
