Misool Island; tourist paradise sea in eastern Indonesia


IO, Jakarta – Some of the recent times, the eastern Indonesian region became a much sought after tourist destination and became a hallmark for local and foreign tourists. The more to the east, the more attractive, even more blue skies and beautiful that is often expressed by the tourists who have been to Eastern Indonesia. However, in line with this travel phenomenon, some destinations are sort of forgotten. Through places that seemed to have forgotten the beauty and charm. One is Misool, a picturesque island located in Raja Ampat, West Papua. Coral islands of various shapes and sizes scattered islands. They stood firm towering above the blue-green waters.

Misool is like a paradise with beautiful beaches and marine parks which are amazing. Misool Island is one of the largest islands in Raja Ampat Islands, West Papua province. Misool is directly adjacent to the Seram Sea and waters off the traffic lanes of large animals including whales.

Underwater beauty Misool can already be seen long before you plunge into the clear turquoise sea water very soothing eye. One impressive one is a relic of history in the form of paintings on the walls of caves that can be found in this region.

On the island of Misool there are many marine tourism activities that you can do. Snorkeling and diving are the main course and not to be missed when setting foot in an area known internationally as the underwater paradise of the best and rare natural phenomenon. Clear sea water allows you to see a view of the underwater beauty even from the ship. Visibility while diving in the crystal clear water even reaches 25 meters.

There are a lot of diving points which keep the charm of the beauty and variety in Misool. It would take a lot of time to try out a myriad of point dives in this area therefore, most likely you will be busy exploring the ocean depths Misool Island pristine and very rich.

The best diving season on Misool Island can be said to be almost all year round. However, keep in mind that during the rainy season the diving activity may be slightly distorted. Visits at different times lets you get more experience anyway when discovering Misool Island.

Besides enjoying panoramic sea travel, there are also several villages around the island of Misool that are also worth visiting. Visits to small villages with a population that is still a bit, of course will give experience and knowledge of the local culture, customs, traditions, and more interesting things to observe.
