Jakarta, IO – In the research conducted by the Merdeka Institute Public Opinion Survey (MIPOS), Prabowo Subianto perched on top as the figure who received the most positive sentiment ahead of the 2024 presidential election.
MIPOS researcher Ibnu Hanif Fadillah said the positive sentiment towards the Gerindra Party’s chairman continued to strengthen compared to other candidates recently. This especially happened after the Gerindra-PKB coalition declaration and Prabowo’s announcement that he is willing to be nominated as the presidential candidate.
Ibnu explained that based on an analysis of netizen conversations from August 9-20, Prabowo generated 35.41 percent positive sentiments among the netizens, with negative comments below 3 percent.
