Jakarta, IO – State-Owned Enterprises Minister Erick Thohir visited Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto at the Defense Ministry, Jakarta, on Tuesday (11/10). Their second meeting was conducted behind closed doors in Prabowo’s office.
After the meeting, Erick Thohir revealed that they only talked about measures to strengthen working relations between the two ministries.
“It’s a regular coordination to continue to equalize perceptions and improve synergies,” said Erick, as reported by Liputan6, Wednesday (12/10).
Both ministers often meet and discuss state-owned enterprises’ involvement in the development of the defense sector. Prabowo is also involved in the restructuring of state insurer PT Asabri.

Prabowo on various occasions said PT Asabri is a vital instrument in maintaining the morale of the armed forces personnel who serve the country by risking their lives.
The Gerindra Party chairman hopes that DEFEND ID, the holding firm for national defense companies, can become stronger and able to compete in a healthy and profitable manner. (un)
