When Eid arrives, the tradition of opening Lubuk Larangan (forbidden pool) will take place festively and turns into an event local residents and visitors have been looking forward to.

Local residents who gather during the tradition can reach hundreds to thousands of people. Using fish nets, they will compete to catch a variety of fish ranging from carp, mujair (tilapia) or jurung (mahseer).
