Leon is happy, because his achievement will open up more opportunities for country music development in Indonesia. “I frequently discuss efforts to develop country in Indonesia with Ambassador Tantowi Yahya. He is Indonesia’s living legend for the genre who started the whole thing. As a country music activist, he pioneered many ideas in our community. It has been a dream of mine to sing one of my original works in a duet with him,” he said.
