From here we maintain that spirit by holding the Laskar Ganjar Puan national conference. We hope PDI-P will nominate Pak Ganjar and Mbak Puan as the presidential and vice-presidential candidate for 2024,” he said.
Although the group considers Ganjar Pranowo and Puan Maharani to be the right candidates, they said they will leave the final decision to the party. “That authority rests with the party. When our aspirations have been conveyed, our next task is to guard the party’s recommendation,” said Saleh.
He argued that as Ganjar Pramono’s electability is also quite high, it is appropriate that he be nominated by the party. “He has the highest electability, who else would be fitting?” he asked rhetorically.
