Jakarta, IO – Jaleswari Pramodhawardani, Deputy V of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) reminded the Indonesia Forward cabinet members to keep implementing President Jokowi’s agenda as the nation enters “political years” in the run up to 2024 elections. She refers to Law 39/2008 on State Ministries which stipulates that minister are assistants to the President.
“Therefore, they should be obedient and disciplined in carrying out the President’s agenda,” Jaleswari said as reported by Antara, Wednesday (11/5).

Apart from being assistants to the President who has prerogative right over their appointment and dismissal, Jaleswari said, ministers are also government officials as per Law 30/2014 on Government Administration.
