Jakarta, IO – The General Elections Commission (KPU) set a target for 2024 elections schedule and stages to be completed in May, in a hearing with the House Committee II and the government on Monday (18/4).
“God willing, KPU regulation can be finished in May. After Lebaran, there will be a hearing to discuss it,” said KPU chairman Hasyim Asy’ari.

He plans to hold further meeting with the House and the government on April 21-23 April to finalize the schedule for all stages of the election and recalculate the seven-month campaign period that has drawn protested from political parties.
