According to Ghufron, the university admission through the said pathway is not measurable and transparent and so the results are not accountable.
“We suspect that the potential for bribery is high because the independent pathway scheme is not measurable, transparent and accountable. This allows prospective students to cut corner by offering bribe,” he said.

Furthermore, Ghufron said KPK has warned that the independent pathway is rife with corruption since 2018. An evaluation has also been submitted to university rectors and the Education and Culture Ministry (Kemendikbud). (un)
