“Otherwise, we risk creating legal certainty. KPK must not be part of unfounded rumor spread by unverified sources,” he said.

Previously, in August 2019, the KPK named four new suspects in the e-KTP case. They were Miryam S Hariyani (former member of the House), Isnu Edhi Wijaya (President Director of Perum PNRI who is also chairman of the PNRI Consortium), Husni Fahmi (Head of the Information Technology for the implementation of e-KTP) and Paulus Tannos (President Director of PT Sandipala Arthaputra).

The case has implicated a number of ministerial high-ranking officials such as the former Population and Civil Registry (Dukcapil) director general Irman and a former Home Ministry official Sugiharto, former Speaker of the House Setya Novanto, and former member of House Commission III Markus Nari.
