Jakarta, IO – Korean Air, a SkyTeam alliance carrier, will increase the frequency of direct flights on the Seoul-Denpasar route from 11 times a week to twice daily (14 times a week) starting October 20. This route connects Incheon Airport with I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, as per Kompas, Thu (26/9).
“We will use a new aircraft wide-body Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner,” said Tae Seok Lee, Indonesian Country Manager of Korean Air. The plane offers 289 economy class seats and 36 Prestige (business class) seats.
South Korean nationals are among the top 10 largest groups of foreign visitors to Indonesia in July, according to data from Statistics Indonesia (BPS).
They accounted for 3.56 percent of total arrivals, more than foreign tourists from the Netherlands and the US. “We see the potential for the sustainable development of Bali as one of the main destinations for South Korean tourists,” said Lee.
