Communications and Information Minister Budi Arie Setiadi said his ministry has been monitoring the rise of online gambling. The result, said Budi, was that it was concluded that the IP addresses of online gambling managers in Indonesia continued to change, and could be traced to locations in the Philippines and Cambodia, per Katadata, Friday (20/10).

Budi revealed that the value of online gambling transactions reached between Rp160 trillion and Rp350 trillion. Therefore, Kominfo has enlisted the help of relevant agencies to tackle the scourge.
