Jakarta, IO – The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) conducted a search at the office of the Communications and Information Ministry (Kominfo) following a probe into the alleged corruption in the construction of base transceiver station (BTS).
Assistant Attorney General for Extraordinary Crimes (Jampidsus) investigation director Kuntadi said the investigation began three months ago and AGO has found sufficient preliminary evidence indicating a crime has been conducted, reported Tempo on Thursday (10/11).
Kuntadi said the state loss in the case reached a staggering Rp1 trillion (US$64 million), from the two-phase project estimated to worth a total of Rp28.3 trillion.
