Jakarta, IO – State-owned shipping company KM Kelud ship will be turned into a floating hotel during the National Games (PON) XXI in Aceh and North Sumatra.
The large ship has docked at the Malahayati port, Krueng, Aceh on Wednesday (5/9), per rri.co.id.
Acting governor of Aceh, Safrizal ZA, ensured that the ship is ready to support the sporting competition that will take place from September 9-20.
Safrizal believed that KM Kelud will be useful for all participants and visitors during the games. He is also optimistic that the ship will offer an unforgettable experience for those who come aboard.

He thanked the transportation minister for the initiative to ensure that PON XXI will be a great success.
KM Kelud is reported able to accommodate up to 2,600 passengers. Safrizal said the ship will be in Aceh throughout PON and return to Jakarta on September 22. (un)
