Kerry’s journey and investment in the Indonesian market began in 2008, with the establishment of offices and factories in Jakarta and Cikarang. There were 185 employees in these two locations. Kerry has announced that its largest investment in Southeast Asia will be made in Karawang, which will be its second production site and third facility in Indonesia. Construction of the factory has started and it will be fully operational in 2023.
