Currently, one of the dengue control programs that have been carried out is the larva monitoring officer (jumantik) assigned in every community unit (RW). This aims to encourage the community to actively monitor their environment and prevent mosquito from breeding.
“Jumantik is tasked to monitor the environment to identify potential of mosquito larvae growing in waterlogged area so the community can tackle it independently,” he said.

Kemenkes is also working with the private sector to gradually launch a mobile dengue education program, planned to be dispatched in 100 locations across Indonesia. (un)
