“Based on the video evidence and available reports, KAI will blacklist the citizenship identification number (NIK) of perpetrators so they cannot board KAI trains in the future. KAI refuses to provide services to perpetrators who have violated ethics and committed sexual immorality which degrades the dignity of other customers, especially women. KAI is committed to providing priority services to the elderly, disabled and pregnant women,” added Asdo.
On Sunday (19/6), the public was recently outraged by a footage circulating on social media showing a woman who claimed to be a victim of sexual harassment committed by a male passenger sitting next to her. In the video, the man could be seen trying to touch the woman inappropriately.
