Jakarta, IO – The Jakarta police and Public Order Agency (Pol PP) officers closely guard the candlelight vigil demanding justice for Police Brigadier Joshua Hutabarat at the Hotel Indonesia (HI) roundabout, Jakarta, Friday (21/7) night.
“You are only given 15 minutes to make your demand known,” said a Pol PP officer via a loudspeaker.
The protesters consisted of the Law and Justice Enforcement Team (Tampak), Brig. Joshua’s relatives and members of the public who sympathized with their cause. They were seen carrying banners and placards.
The crowd gathered and walked from MH. Thamrin St. toward the HI roundabout. The street was closed off by officers and reopened after the crowd arrived at the roundabout.
