“We know that the defense budgets in NATO countries, in the Middle East and also in East Asia have increased dramatically and the advent of new military technologies that we also need to keep abreast with,” said Jokowi.
He also talked about his excitement when the president director of Defend ID stated that bringing the national defense holding to become the world’s top 50 defense companies is one of his missions.
“Of course, with the products that we have now, we have to develop them as best as possible,” said Jokowi.
When asked by reporters whether he would give his blessing to Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto to run in the upcoming election, President Jokowi said: “Why the need for blessing?
