Several sub-sectors of the creative economy, such as application and game development, television and radio, even grew significantly, as people consumed more content during lockdown or mobility restrictions.

Post-pandemic, he believes creative economy will become the backbone of the economy in the future. Therefore, its development must continue to be encouraged so it can grow faster, bigger, and become more advanced.

He said the climate of innovation and creativity, supported by adaptive and accommodative policies would advance a nation’s civilization. “I hope this third edition of World Conference on Creative Economy (WCCE) can produce Bali Creative Economy Roadmap for Global Recovery to accelerate an inclusive and sustainable national and global economic recovery process,” he said.
