Jakarta, IO – Hawkeye star Jeremy Renner, gave the latest update of his condition after suffering snow-related accident a few days ago. Through his personal Instagram account, Renner uploaded a selfie of him lying in the hospital bed. The photo shows bruises around his left eye and forehead, with a breathing tube still attached to his nose.
“Thank you all for your kind words. I’m too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all,” wrote @jeremyrenner, Tuesday (3/1).
Washoe District Police in Nevada explained the chronology of the accident. Sheriff Darin Balaam said Renner had an accident while trying to help a family member who was trapped in a car during the snow storm, reported CNN Indonesia, Wednesday (4/1).
“Based on our investigation, Mr. Renner’s personal vehicle, driven by a member of the family, got stuck in the snow near his house,” said Darin. Knowing this, Renner rushed to get his snow plow machine to clear the snow.

“Mr. Renner went to get his PistenBully or Sno-Cat, a very large snow-clearing machine weighing about 14,330 pounds – in an attempt to get the car moving,” Balaam explained.
Renner managed to free the car but when it got out of the PistenBully, the machine began to roll by itself. He attempted to get back into the driver’s seat, but the heavy equipment malfunctioned and ran over into the 51-year-old actor. (un)
