Jakarta, IO – Dutch saxophonist Jasper Blom and jazz band Kelapa Muda collaborated to perform melodious jazz music at Erasmus Huis, Jakarta, Tuesday (31/5).

Jasper Blom, a jazz musician from the Netherlands, collaborates with three young members of Kelapa Muda. Jasper Blom, a tenor and soprano saxophonist, won the Boy Edgar Prize in 2019, the most prestigious award for jazz and improvisation in the Netherlands. Meanwhile, Kelapa Muda is the winner of The Papandayan Jazz Festival 2021, this experimental jazz trio consists of Samuel Song as bassist, Josafat Song as drummer, and Abraham Song as guitarist. They performed jazz genres, such as avangarde jazz rock which they composed themselves. (Rayi Gigih)
