On the same occasion, PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) president director Dwiyana Slamet Riyadi said the delivery of EMU and Comprehensive Inspection Train (CIT) overseas was the first time such delivery has ever been done by China.
A total of 11 series of trains produced by CRRC Sifang in Qingdao, Shandong Province, have been completed in early April this year. EMU and CIT sent to Indonesia have completed static and dynamic tests at their production sites.

“To date, the progress of the KCIC project has reached 85 percent, and there are still some works on the second tunnel, pre loading, track laying and station completion,” he said. (rr)
