Makeup artist Ernaka Puspita Dewi told Republika that the ghost figures were made to look even scarier, from powder-white powder for Sheila Dara to the installation of fake fangs for Ganindra Bimo. Cinta Laura is also one of the ghosts in this film.
“Playing the kuntilanak, Sheila Dara really made her face white, like wall paint. Sheila was shocked and said she said the powder was really as white as rice flour. Not to mention the 120-cm long hair which made me very dizzy,” said Ernaka.
“In addition, Cinta Laura as Nonik has also increased the color by one tone to make her look paler, the rest is ordinary makeup. The most difficult thing is Ganindra Bimo, who plays Genderuwo. He is fitted with contact lenses whose diameter covers all eyeballs,” added Ernaka.
