Jakarta, IO – Gerindra Party chairman Prabowo Subianto still enjoys the highest electability in a three-cornered simulation, according to Indonesia Polling Station (IPS).
The results showed Prabowo was ahead of Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan and Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo.
IPS senior researcher Alfin Sugianto further explained that when Prabowo was head-to-head against Ganjar, he got nearly twice as many votes.
“In a simulation between Prabowo and Ganjar, the former got 62.1% of votes compared to the latter’s 34.4%. The remaining 3.5 percent said they didn’t know,” Alfin told Sindonews on Monday (27/6).
When pitted against Anies, the defense minister garnered 61.5% of votes, while Anies received 35.8%, with 2.7% undecided.
The survey, involving 1,220 respondents aged 17 and above, was conducted from June 13-23 across 34 provinces to ensure a more representative sampling. (un)
