Emma often uploads her works through her social media. Unexpectedly, her talent was noticed by Disney.
“When I found out that Disney wanted me to design a poster for Turning Red, I was so excited and honored because I felt a personal connection to the film,” Emma said.
Turning Red tells the story of teenagers who are searching for their identity and friendship. It shows the Chinese American culture of the main character’s family.
“As a Chinese Indonesian myself, I really like this film because Turning Red’s theme is very relatable to me, about self-acceptance, friendship, and teenage experience,” she said. (un)
