Indonesian shuttlers make it into 6 matches at Indonesia Masters quarter final

Jakarta, IO – Indonesian badminton players secure their places in six matches at the Indonesia Masters 2022 quarter final held at the Istora Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta, June 7-12.

In the Men’s Double event where Indonesia has been superior, fifth seeded Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto won against fellow countrymen Pramudya Kusumawardana/Yeremia Erich Yoche with the score of 16-21, 21-17, 21-13, reported Antara. Their victory was followed by top-seeded Marcus Fernaldi Gideon/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo, winners of the 2020 edition, who beat Thai players Supak Jomkoh/Kittinupong Kedren with the score of 21-14, 8-21, 21-18.

Meanwhile, second-seeded Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan lost to South Korean pair Kang Min Hyuk/Seo Seung Jae in a tight match with the final score of 19-21, 21-18, 19-21.
