Indonesian netizens keenly welcome ex-coach Luis Milla

Jakarta, IO – Indonesian netizens enthusiastically welcomed the return of former coach of the Indonesian national football team, Luis Milla, who will train Bandung-based Persib FC.

“Welcome back to Indonesia, coach,” @Ihamdi19 commented on Luis Milla’s Instagram account @luismillacoach, Saturday (20/8).

Welcoming remarks also came from several Indonesian footballers, including naturalized striker from Bali United club Ilija Spasojevik and PSIS Semarang striker Septian David Maulana. “Bienvenido (welcome), Mister,” Spaso wrote.

Luis Milla is a household name in Spain. He used to play for some of the largest clubs in the country — Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Valencia.

During his professional career, he has won eight trophies, four with Madrid, three with Barcelona, and one with Valencia. In July 2001, the player nicknamed “El Che” decided to retire.
