Meanwhile, KOTRA Jakarta director general Jang-hee Lee said his agency plays the role of a bridge between South Korean and Indonesian companies to establish economic cooperation, especially in the fields of export, import and investment.
“South Korea will continue to collaborate with high-tech industries such as electric vehicles and secondary batteries as part of its Environmental Social Governance (ESG) to support Indonesia’s sustainability policies,” said Lee.

Indonesia is an important partner for South Korea, especially in ASEAN. The value of trade between the two countries hit US$15.3 billion in the period between January and July 2022, up 49.3 percent compared to US$10.2 billion in the same period a year earlier. (rr)
