Indonesia records two more deaths caused by acute hepatitis

Of the 15 cases, four of them are categorized as “pending classification” because they have gone through a number of examinations for hepatitis type A, B, C, D, E and adenovirus.

“All of them are being treated at the hospital. Some are being treated in regular in-patient ward, some in ICU,” revealed Nadia.

Previously, Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin said the acute hepatitis virus was transmitted through food. He advised the public to increase vigilance by taking preventive measures such as diligently washing their hands and observe a clean and healthy lifestyle. (un)
