“And most importantly, it will trigger economic growth in our country,” he added.
On the same occasion, Investment Minister/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) chief Bahlil Lahadalia revealed that the first phase of the Batang KIT development which covers an area of 450 hectares and the second phase of 1,000 hectares has been filled.
“We have LG, Foxconn, and several other companies built on the existing 1,200 hectares of land,” said Bahlil.

Bahlil said the products manufactured by Wavin pipe factory will be able to substitute Indonesian pipe imports, which currently accounts for 80 percent. (rr)
