Jakarta, IO – Indonesia and Japan agreed to strengthen cooperation, especially in the development of Indonesia’s new administrative capital city Nusantara. The agreement was reached during discussions between Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi and Japanese Foreign Minister Hayashi Yoshimasa in the 8th Strategic Dialogue in Tokyo, Monday (6/3).

During the meeting, Retno said that competitive and quality investment would have a positive impact on bilateral relations between the two countries. Apart from investment, another thing that was discussed was the importance of Japan’s contribution in the development of Nusantara through technology transfer.
