Jakarta, IO – Five Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) in a number of fields were signed by the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) Authority with Japanese agencies and companies.

The agreements were reached during the G7 summit at the Grand Prince Hotel, Hiroshima, Japan, Sunday (21/5).

In addition, there were 24 Letters of Intent (LoI) submitted by Japanese companies to IKN Authority in front of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

IKN Authority head Bambang Susanto said the agreements proved that IKN development project would not only benefit Indonesia, but also all global partners.

According to him, currently IKN has the best investment opportunities in Indonesia. This is reflected in the various incentives provided by the government for investors so they can experiment with new ideas and innovations.
