Founded in early 2021 to celebrate the country’s 50th anniversary, Zayed Military University trains and educates the country’s youths physically and mentally to enter the military and security services. The university offers a bachelor of science degree in defense and security with a new program starting in January 2022.

The curriculum aims to develop key military skills and theories. The university also cooperates with Rabdan Academy. Graduates will undergo an additional year of training in their chosen area of specialization prior to joining active military service. (nhn/yas)
