Born December 8, 1953, is an American politician and member of the Democratic Party who has served as the 44th and current Mayor of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, since 2004. He served in the United States House of Representatives from 1993 to 2003, and the Wisconsin State Senate from 1989 to 1993.
