IO, Jakarta – After officially opening the Open Call stage in last April, Indonesia Creative Incorporated (ICINC) continues to receive an extraordinary welcome from hundreds of Indonesian music talents. ICINC is a Bekraf program which aims to promote the work and leading creative actors, to be able to penetrate the global market. The Indonesia Creative Incorporated (ICINC) program of the Creative Economy Agency (Bekraf) has successfully attracted the attention of various parties. After selecting talent from various cities in Indonesia, Bekraf, in collaboration with international media company 88Rising, announced the top 5 ICINC participants at a press conference held in Baxter Smith, Jakarta, on Thursday (07/11/2019).
Previously, on Sunday (7/7) Bekraf Chief Triawan Munaf, Rich Brian (Brian Imanuel) together with the 88rising team and representatives of ICINC participants met with President Joko Widodo at the Bogor Palace to explain the ICINC program and the Indonesia Rising sub-program.
During the press conference, the Deputy Head of Bekraf Ricky Joseph Pesik in his speech said that ICINC is a large program of Bekraf that had been prepared for a long time. “ICINC has been prepared by Bekraf for 4 years. ICINC is our effort to penetrate the global market by cooperating with parties already in the global market,” Ricky said.
After the press conference, the winners selected who will depart for Los Angeles each showed their ability to sing on stage. ICINC has managed to get a welcome of no less than 536 soloists from various cities such as Aceh, Bandung, Makassar, Malang, Sidoarjo, Pontianak, Surabaya, Papua and various other cities. 88rising then carried out the selection process and succeeded in getting the top 20 participants, until finally the top 5 were chosen to take part in the talent development stage of 88rising and appear on the title “Head in the Clouds Festival” on the upcoming August 17 Los Angeles time.
The five names of selected participants are:

6. Marcello Laksono (Cellosux) – -Jakarta – Runner Up
