IO – The culinary team of ibis Styles Bogor Raya started off 2020 with something uber refreshing! This time the hotel management challenged the Kitchen team with “Salad Festival” as the first Cooking Competition theme of the year. The results were rather surprising everyone, because not only that the competing salads were presented and carefully crafted with creativity and ‘wild’ imagination. From Salad Arabic Mezza, to Chilli Seafood & Warm Salad, to say the least.
From the 5 (five) competitive contestants, whom 4 of them were staff, and another was in training program. None of the judges would expect that the winner was Mr. Rifky the trainee, as the T&C department revealed the result.
The winner will have their winning-dish sold at the hotel restaurant as the #MENUOFTHEQUARTER, and he will receive no longer 5% but 10% incentive from the total revenue contributed from the salad within three months. Mr. Rifky will also be entitled for one-night-complimentary stay at hotel ibis Styles Bogor Raya.
The competition has proven to be a motivation tool for the team for always improving the talent and sharpening the skills.
