Jakarta, IO – Two MotoGP riders from Spain, Aleix Espargaro and Jorge Martin, took a short vacation in Bali after wrapping up the Australian MotoGP last weekend (16/10) before they head for Malaysia for the Sepang series.

Their vacation moments were uploaded via the official Instagram account @aleixespargaro. In one of the photos, the Aprilia Racing rider shows the moment he and Martin rode a Honda Scoopy scooter in the rain.

What’s interesting is that they donned cheap green-tinted raincoats that cost around Rp20,000 (US$1.28).

This, naturally, drew comments from the country’s avid netizens. The majority of them were amused that Aleix and Jorge were willing to wear the cheap raincoats made of thin and transparent plastic and not feeling awkward about it.

Jorge had actually visited the Island of Gods after the Thailand MotoGP event before leaving for Australia.

Seri MotoGP Malaysia akan digelar pada Minggu, 23 Oktober di sirkuit Sepang setelah sempat dibatalkan selama dua musim akibat pandemi Covid-19. ( rr )
