IO, Jakarta – The Hodgepodge Superfest 2019 to be held on 31 August-1 September 2019 will be a festival of the latest genres of music, presented by Java Festival Production in cooperation with Supermusic. The Festival’s organizers have confirmed that The Used, State Champs, Superorganism, Adrian Khalif, Ahmad Abdul, Coldiac, Dried Cassava, Feast, Iwa K. x Sweet Martabak, GHO$$, Jevin Julian x Petra Sihombing, LALAHUTA, M.A.T.S, Maliq & D’Essentials, Marcello Tahitoe, Pamungkas, and Reality Clubare among the lineup to be showcased by the Festival. They complement the other artists who were announced in March, such as the super group Prophets of Rage (Tom Morello; Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk of Rage Against the Machine; Chuck D. and DJ Lord from Public Enemy; B. Real of Cypress Hill), Snow Patrol (Acoustic), BARASUARA, Danilla, FOURTWNTY, GAC, The Japanese House and Phony Ppl.

“As this is Hodgepodge Superfest’s 2nd year, we of the Java Festival Production are glad and happy that it’s back. “Hodgepodge” Superfest is, as its name implied, a hodgepodge, a mixture of diverse things. This is what we refer to when we created the concept of this festival and when we select our performing artists. This is obvious from our lineup: the American rock band The Used, the British indie pop band Superorganism, the dance/electronic Indonesian musician Jevin Julian, who will be collabo­rating with pop singer Petra Sihombing, and many more. Like in our first show, we will be holding the Hodgepodge Superfest at the Allianz Ecopark, Ancol, Jakarta. It’s surrounded by trees and covered in grass, creating a cool green ambience. We hope that visitors can enjoy the environment while watching our performance, enjoy delicious food and drinks in such an artistic festival area,” said Dewi Gontha, PT Java Festival Production’s President Director.
