
Jakarta, IO – The Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway (KCJB) cars/coaches finally arrived at Tanjung Priok Port on Thursday (1/9) night. They were part of the first-stage delivery which departed from the port of Qingdao in Shandong Province on August 21.
PT KCIC, the consortium that builds the railway, upload a 58-sec video showing the Comprehensive Inspection Train (CIT) arrival to the port in Jakarta. “We feel joy and pride with the arrival of the train. Indonesia is proud because we are the first country to have a high-speed railway in Southeast Asia,” it wrote on its Instagram account.
PT KCIC president director Dwiyana Slamet Riyadi in his official statement on Friday (2/9) said that KCJB will undergo a dynamic test at the G20 event in November and President Joko Widodo and Chinese President Xi Jinping will take test ride from DK 127 to Tegalluar station, CNBC reported.
