The indoor vibe is just as attractive: the roughly plastered walls have niches to put knick-knacks in. They really got the Mediterranean relaxed, casual beach atmosphere down!
Once we’re comfortably seated, the staff told us to reorder or leave after two hours, in deference to others who might be waiting for a table. However, the waiting list was empty that workday midafternoon, and they left us alone even though we didn’t reorder. As expected, the menu is extensive, including Indonesian staples (rice and side dishes), Asian dishes like tom yam soup, and Western dishes. “They have good tom yum here,” my pal Ika said. “But let’s just have a large pizza to share today.”
I agreed. For our drinks, I chose the ice milk coffee, while Ika wanted the ice cherry coffee. She had such a deep impression of it from her previous visit that she chose to have it again that day. “The cherry’s sweet and sour tang just adds another level to the coffee’s deliciousness,” she said.
