Jakarta, IO – Europe on Screen (EOS) 2022 is back. After two years of being held virtually, the 22nd edition of the EU Annual Film Festival is being held in a hybrid format. Offline screenings will be held from June 16-26 in several major cities in Indonesia, such as Jakarta, Bandung, Denpasar, Medan, Surabaya, and Yogyakarta. Meanwhile, for online screenings, film lovers can access the festivalscope website from June 20-30.
“This year, EOS will feature the latest 69 films from 20 EU member states and five other European countries,” said the EU Ambassador to Indonesia Vincent Piket in an official statement received by Observerid.com, Wednesday (8/6).
Piket said the festival will screen various genres of films, from thrillers, comedy, horror, drama to award-winning films that raise awareness on current issues. Not only that, there will be various other interesting events such as discussions, webinars and exhibitions.
