“PeduliLindungi has contributed to the low transmission of Covid-19 in Indonesia compared to neighboring countries and even developed ones. It plays a major role in suppressing the transmission rate when we experienced the Delta and Omicron waves,” said Nadia on Saturday (15/4)
Nadia emphasized that the development of the PeduliLindungi app was done in line with WHO’s 2020 Joint Statement on Data Protection and Privacy in Covid-19 Response which was used as guidance for the development of Covid-19 track and trace app in many countries to enforce compliance to health protocols.
“The system security aspect and protection of personal data at PeduliLindungi is a top priority for the Health Ministry. All PeduliLindungi features operate within a data protection and security framework called Data Ownership and Stewardship,” she said.
