Jakarta, IO – The Health Ministry revealed the potential for Indonesia to be free from the shackle of the Covid-19 pandemic so that people can return to normal life by January 2023.
However, the Health Ministry’s Disease Prevention and Control (P2P) director general Maxi Rein Rondonuwu explained that this is contingent upon two conditions.
First, if the number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia and other countries show a downward trend. Second, there is no new, more virulent and dangerous variant, he told CNN Indonesia on Thursday (25/8).
