Theatrical performances about Inggit Garnasih had previously been performed by Happy Salma and Titimangsa. The difference is, this time it feels more immersive with musical elements that make the monologue not only beautiful but also more lively, expressive, and profound.

The script was written by Ratna Ayu Budhiarti who took inspiration from the novel “Kuantar Ke Pintu” by Ramadhan KH. Ratna who intended to bring back Inggit’s story that deserves to be remembered and emulated.

“Starting from an inch of distance that brings them closer, it also ended with an inch of distance that separated them. However, Inggit remained steadfast even after she was hit by waves,” said Ratna. (Aini Tartinia)
