Jakarta, IO – Halim Perdanakusuma Airport plans to reopen in July, according to Acting Director General of Civil Aviation Novie Riyanto.

“The completion is estimated in July. Later, we will still carry out tests and assessments. We need to verify all aspects again. After that, there will be a flight trial in July,” Novie was quoted as saying by Detik, Wednesday (25/5).

Novie said initially the target for the completion of the revitalization project was 3.5 months. If calculated since the closing of Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, the revitalization should have been completed in May. However, Novie said there are still many processes that must be carried out since Halim Perdanakusuma Airport was closed, so the completion target has been postponed to July.
