“Two women, Dwi Dahlia Susanti and Dini Ramadani, are strongly believed to be currently in Syria, as can be seen from their travel documents. Another is Muhammad Dandi Adiguna, based on his father’s statement that he is already abroad, also likely in Syria,” said Dedi Prasetyo.

The other two, Ari Kardian and Rudi Heriadi, were processed by Densus 88 and sent to jail, but have been released. Ari got 3 years for his role in facilitating travel to Syria while Rudi was sentenced to 3.6 years after he was deported from Syria.

On Tuesday (10/5) the US Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced the names of five ISIS financial facilitators operating across Indonesia, Syria, and Turkey. They are said to play a key role in facilitating the travel of extremists to Syria and other areas where ISIS operates.

US said the network also transferred fund to support ISIS in refugee camps based in Syria by raising funds in Indonesia and Turkey, including some money used to smuggle children out of the camps and send them to ISIS foreign fighters as potential recruits. (rr)
